Is the iPad app the same full capability as the computer experience or is it limited as is the smart phone? I am commenting as a teacher concerned that learner data is available to both teacher and learner regardless the platform.

    • Hi Michael,

Good question and we did communicate this through newsletter but will continue to communicate the differences.

All data is synched so what a student does on the phone or tablet app is captured. It appears in the reports. However that said, there a couple of reporting related differences. 1. No quiz in the app (yet, its scheduled). So students have to complete this and LEARN word goals through the website/browser. 2. Listen In. If students use an app to record, they won’t appear in the Listen In library (yet, time table uncertain for this) available to teachers.

We do have a fix/ticket where students don’t see group videos assigned by a teacher in the app. Not many schools using groups (most use just a class) but this will be resolved soon.

I hope this answers the question!
